Lots of companies, especially start-ups, do this. The irony is, I and some of my co-workers took less vacation when it was unlimited.

I'm the same - read it cover to cover for years. After re-design, I mostly just toss it in the trash every week unless there is something on the cover that catches my eye (about once every 2 months)

MECC was actually spun off from the state as a standalone game company for a year (The C became Corporation) before being bought by the Learning Company. It and Broderbund were bought later by the same company, and are now part of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
